I was browsing around on my buddy Dustin’s website when I ran across a video slide show he put together for Heather and I of our wedding. When I updated the site to the new format we lost the link to the video. I took the liberty of stealing the video and re-posting it to share with our family and friends. So all the creative credit goes to Dustin… all the thieving credit goes to me
Enjoy!

Heather and I celebrated our one year anniversary on April 21st. We didn’t do anything to lavish since we left most of our money in Vegas earlier in the month. We would like to thank everybody for the warm wishes and cards that we received! I’m personally looking forward to our second year of marriage and many, many more to come.
Oh, you want to know how the cake tasted don’t you? Well we were happily surprised that it tasted almost the same as our wedding day it was just a little dry. We were both pretty skeptical because the cake had been in the freezer when we lost power due to the ice storms this winter. We’re both still alive and don’t seem to be experiencing any illness which is a plus.
We are curious though, does this mean we’re no longer considered newly weds?
Heather and I have booked our honeymoon at the All Inclusive El Dorado Seaside Suites in the Riviera Maya. The hotel is located about an hour south of Cancun just past Playa Del Carmen. We will be staying in an ocean front room so we can look out at the beautiful Caribbean everyday (this is the part where you should get jealous). You can check out the hotel and read all about it on their website – El Dorado Seaside Suites
We are departing on April 23rd, the Monday following the wedding and return late on April 30th. If last summers cruise is any proof we should have a ton of pictures to post up on the site when we return!

The night started as a date night, dinner and a movie. Dinner was at Johnny Carino’s, they have the BEST Italian margaritas!!! The movie had not been decided yet, but that wasn’t a big deal. Dinner was great, I was having a good time despite the yucky, rainy weather. At one point, Paul’s older brother Jess called, but Paul did not answer, I assumed at the time because we were eating. Once we were done with dinner, we were headed to the movie theater when Jess called again. This time Paul answered and apparently Jess had gotten in a big fight with his wife, Danielle, and left their home and got a room at the Embassy Suites. He wanted Paul to come talk to him and help calm him down. Paul, being the good brother that he is, agreed. I offered to let him take me home since it might be weird with me there, but he said I could just stay in the car and if need be, he would take me home.
So, Heather and I are now engaged to be married. Probably the number one question I get asked is “What took you so long”? Well, I always knew that Heather was the girl I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, I just had to give her plenty of time to make sure she could put up with me.
I asked her to marry me on Friday, April 28th and you can read all about it on “The Proposal” page. But we plan to use this website as a quick way to keep everybody updated on our engagement, wedding and then after that we’ll probably just continue to bore people with anything else we can think of to post up here.
If you want to stay informed feel free to give us your Name and E-Mail on the homepage and we’ll send you updates anytime we have something new to share. We hope you enjoy following us through this next stage in our lives, we know we are!
We would love to receive messages in our guestbook from anyone compelled to do so. Please check back often as we will be making frequent updates to the website as the engagement progresses.
